Modular

The collection was launched in 2017 by Studio Stills, a design studio founded by Janneke Wessels and José Molmans, both graduates in Architectural Design from the Technical University Delft in the Netherlands.

The collection is named ‘Stills’.  It started as an experiment to develop a product from an architectural point of view, an object that relates to it’s context. The outcome is a modular system wich allows you to customise a lamp for a specific location and the start of a collection with models suited to some common places. Bright and airy volumes with great care for details and a beautiful illumination.

Stills is developed with the aim to create as small an impact on the environment as possible, produced locally with a minimum of lightweight materials and designed to be flat-packed.  The ‘plissés’ are handmade in the studio and the aluminium structures are produced around the corner (with a good dose of Dutch craftsmanship!)
